Our Mission
The Purpose of Grafton County Senior Citizens Council is to develop, strengthen and provide programs and services which support the health, dignity and independence of older adults and adults with disabilities living in our communities.
Communities: Lebanon, West Lebanon, Hanover, Plainfield, Enfield.
Grafton County Senior Citizens Council incorporated in Lebanon in 1973 and opened the Upper Valley Senior Center more than 25 years ago as the first of its eight programs. As a full-service center, the Upper Valley Senior Center is bustling from morning to night every weekday with meal preparation, three lift-equipped buses coming and going with passengers, an active crafts room, special classes and health clinics, and daily adult day care. A monthly newsletter and daily updates in the local newspaper keep participants informed about activities and events.
