RSVP and The Volunteer Center mobilizes volunteers in Grafton and Sullivan counties to deliver creative solutions to community needs through meaningful use of their talents and time.
Last year, 376 volunteers provided over 49,000 hours of service to the community through 47 not-for-profit and public agencies in the region through RSVP and the Volunteer Center. Service activities include: teaching decision maknig class to inmates; reading with young children to give them the extra practice time needed to get on their way to literacy; providing clerical support to agencies; and helping elders stay safe by helping with small chores and repairs
The numbers are only half of the story. What counts most is all of the lives volunteers help change...all of the communities volunteers help make stronger.
